Dark Horse Lumberjack Shows combine athletic competition, education, and entertainment in a high-energy, engaging performance for audiences of all ages. Our shows highlight athleticism, equipment proficiency, discipline, and safety practices rooted in traditional forestry and lumberjack sports. Cornish Fair has the longest running woodsmen competition in New Hampshire! Make this a highlight of your Fair Weekend and join use at the Horse Ring on Sunday, August 23 from 10am – 4pm.

- Open Axe Throw
- Men’s and Women’s Underhand Chop
- Men’s and Women’s Bow Saw
- Chainsaw Steeplechase (Bring your own saw!)
- Open Hot Saw
- Men’s, Women’s, and Jack and Jill Crosscut
- Relay Race (Buy-in. Sign up in advance!)
