General Open Show Rules
- Entries must be submitted in writing to the department superintendent no later than July 20. Late entries may be rejected.
- All animals must be owned and registered by the exhibitor, listed by name, address, breed, and class.
- All animals must be on the grounds and in place by 7:00 AM Friday, and may not leave before 6:00 PM Sunday without superintendent permission — early departure forfeits premiums.
- Rabies vaccination is required for all livestock exhibited; exhibitors must be able to provide proof of vaccination and insurance. The Cornish Fair — Website Draft Copy Page 4
- Out-of-state cattle require an approved interstate health certificate, and all cattle must originate from Tuberculosis- and Brucellosis-negative herds. Animals showing signs of foot rot, mange, pink eye, ringworm, warts, or cowpox will be rejected.
- Exhibitors furnish their own hay and grain; the Fair Association provides bedding, water, and overnight watchmen, though it assumes no liability for injury to animals or exhibitors.
- Agricultural camping is available in the upper lot with a submitted camping form and fee — spaces are assigned with limited electricity, and campers only (no generators, awnings, or air conditioners).
