Entering The Cornish Fair Pageants
The Cornish Fair King & Queen and Prince & Princess Pageants are held every year on Friday of the fair!
Come take part in this wonderful fair tradition, directed by Nicole Galloway, and held this year Friday, August 18th, at the Whelen Pavilion Stage starting at 3:30PM!
The King and Queen contest is open to any contestant between the ages of 13-22. Each contestant must submit a recent photo, application, 250 word essay and a minimum of a $25 sponsor fee. Each contestant will attend practices that occur the first 3 Wednesdays in August from 4:30-6:30. Each contestant will be judged in interview, talent, formal wear and an on stage question. Each contestant will receive a 3 day pass to the fair and a sash. The pageant will be Friday of the Fair at 4:00 pm, August 18th, 2023.
The Prince and Princess contest is open to any contestant, ages 7-12. Contestants must complete an application and submit a recent photo. They will be judged the afternoon of the Fair and will be crowned the night of the Fair. Crowning will be at 3:30 pm, Friday, August 18th, 2023
